Main Screen

The main screen within the CAPS Query Editor program initially will display the "Saved Queries" pane on the left hand side of the screen, and an open \ unused area to the right.  The menu and toolbars at the top of the screen contain the commonly used functions within the program.

Running a Query

Once an apropriate query is double clicked in the 'Saved Queries Pane' the previously blank white query editor window will automatically get populated with the code needed to extract the data requested.

Once the query has been executed the data will have been pulled into a frame just below the code as shown in the image on the right.

Data Output Formats

There are several ways that CAPS Query will output data, the file types supported are:

• CSV
• Excel
• Tab
• Grid (On-screen, shown on the right)
