CAPS 4.0 generates more information in less time. Using your composite definitions and policies, the system automates most of the compliance process. You can choose on-screen or maintenance record warnings when portfolio policies are breached and select to automatically or manually include/exclude those portfolios.
Features that make maintaining composites simple:
- The management style and discretion of each portfolio is tracked on a monthly basis.
- Allows the user to easily review maintenance activity using a data grid.
- The maintenance process allows the user to identify portfolios that have fallen outside the policies set for a composite. The user can then take the appropriate action to remove the portfolio from the composite if he/she did not choose automatic removal. When a portfolio terminates, the system creates an audit trail.
- Enter audit notes explaining why the portfolio closed. The record is maintained in an audit file.
- Enter an audit note explaining why the portfolio was removed. The record is maintained in an audit file.
- Users update composite structure on a monthly basis.
- When the system keeps track of changes within each portfolio that could affect the portfolio's inclusion in the composite. The system has the ability to display this information on-screen (as the composite is being built) or in a report.
- Portfolios can be added to any number of composites over any period of time.
- Portfolios can go into and out of any composite as needed.
- New portfolios that come under management are automatically brought to the users attention so that they can be added to the appropriate composite or composites.
